Ode To The Hubby Poem by Antonia Anthony

Ode To The Hubby

Sure.. I'll play house with you..
And when we done playin house,
maybe we go play mummies and daddies too..
Raise us up a kid or two..
In summertime play peek-a-boo
Lazy days under the Sycamore..
Do you think you go get sick and done.. Then be gone?

I'm saving all my Rose Red Kisses for you..
I'll plant them on you in ones and twos..
I promise to keep my figure right and tight..
If you promise that my figure be the only figure
that your ever gonna try and figure out..
And slowly but quickly as time turns its pages
And we fade through the ages..
My Rose Reds I'll still plant on you..

It aint always gonna be a beautiful rain..
But i'm willing to let my hair get wet for you..
I'll be your soilder and get tall
Use all the strands upon my head
wipe away the strains, pains causing drains on you..
All and more, under the watchful eye of the infinite
Most High..
