Ode To The Cherry Tree Poem by Matthew Holloway

Ode To The Cherry Tree

Ode to the cherry tree
How sweet does spring become
Upon the budding of your flowers
Upon the welcoming sight
Of the colours you paint upon
The canvas of this world
That which greets each morning
That which is witnessed each day
How fair and beautiful a sight
To greet any such soul
Welcoming to a smile
And to you, to you an ode
An ode to the cherry tree
