October Wounds Poem by O. C. Woods

October Wounds

The longest week stayed on mind with thoughts to torment
where to go when the way is shut...I breath but on Death's set
where did the evergreen days went?
when the smell starts to draw a dark figure I dwell hurt
health stained and seconds flowing faster for shortened future to keep
is one familiar with my grim shaped shoulder fiend? ?
she sings for I to shiver for weeks without the ability to feel
and after these blurry days life's wasted shrills I peal...
