Octo Tales Poem by Ima Ryma

Octo Tales

This octopus has tales to tell
Of working with humans that are
Just skeletons with heads that swell
With self centeredness so bizarre.
Humans do have this thing about
Grabbing an octopus to test,
Surprised that octopus wants out
Of being held by human pest.
The reason I can tell my tale,
I was stuck in a human tank,
Dislodged a drain pipe in that jail,
Leaving humans blankety blank.

It's always fun to irritate
Think so smart human vertebrate.
