I saw inside you the sadness
from love that was left broken
you were feeling a little torn and used
a love was lost and out of sight
just your dreams to hold onto at night
emotionally feeling worn and abused
left feeling alone and confused

But then love came and found you
in me it a shined on you a light
to help you to see it through
like a gentle soft blowing wind
your heart gave love it once refused
you thought you would never find again
to help you make it through another day

I gave you my love through a song
and took away all the loneliness
that lingered through the morning dawn
one you reached for-for so long
taking the bad dreams you had away
you found in me the Oceans of time
the day I became yours and you became mine
