I've only ever caught a glimse
and what a glimse it was
the water was a glistening
with a pallid green

and what a green it was

i stood there captivated
denied another look
and while my eyes where deprieved
i inhaled a breathe of air

and what a breathe it was

the air was gone
from my lungs
oh how i craved for more
but know its gone
forever long

how i long for more

i cannot explain
the awe i felt
with that stunning glimse
or how i felt
breathing in
that puff of air

oh how i wish
and dream and hope
that i can get another glimse

oh what a glimse it was
