I thought I could handle you.
your touch, your words and dry mouth.
You thought you could handle me.
my ideas, my fears and midnight crying.
But at the end
it's not what we thought we could handle,
but what we hoped.
I was a hopeless shell
and you were a sea full of life.
The truth is,
that every shell is once brought ashore
no matter how it doesn't like it.
And in my case,
I landed on a ground,
without knowing you won't be there.
