Observations From The Mountain Poem by J Patrick Murphy

Observations From The Mountain

Were I a bird
I would race across the skies by day
And nest upon this mountain at night
What for others is an impossible ascent
Is for me my backyard
What they see as a victory
I see as a home
Were I a bird
I would take this place for granted
