O, What A Savior Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

O, What A Savior

'A Song of Praise'

Years ago, so many years ago,
To fulfill salvation’s plan,
God sent his Son, His one and only Son,
To redeem fallen man

And provide salvation;
To bring hope and give life.
He was God’s Lamb, sinless and pure;
The supreme sacrifice.

What a Savior, what love sublime,
What mercy, what grace divine
That the Father would send his Son,
And the Son would willingly give
His life as a sacrifice, there on Calvary’s hill.
He died that day; His life He gave
That you and I might live.

O, what a Savior, praise His holy name!
O, what a Savior, God became a man!
O, what a Savior, evermore we shall proclaim...
O, what a Savior, O, what a Savior!
