O Love Where Are You Now Poem by Peter S. Quinn

O Love Where Are You Now

Rating: 3.9

O love where are you now
I am growing old,
I hear your voice in my heart somehow
words that went by untold.

In dreams, these are times going
one by one into the glow,
dream of dreams without knowing
Love is love that is loved so.

I hear your shadows going by
dreams that were never to see,
and in the morning in the open sky
the sun coming up to be.

O love where are you now
the years are gone into time,
these moments are here now somehow
in winter cold darkness rime.

Nothing has changed in my dreams
they still build up the day,
with all their reason and deems
that once were in life's true way.

O love I know I'll someday go
just like you departed this stay,
but the morning will still come in a glow
with some days in winter's grey.
