Now You're Gone Poem by GRACIA SAB

Now You're Gone

Don't think of him as gone away
for in our hearts, he'll forever
stay
Just think of him as resting from
the heartaches and tears
In a golden haven where there
are no days and years.

Uncle, touch your family's heart
and hug them tight
For they never knew that God
called your name that night
There are no words to ease their
sadness and their grief
Losing you, brings them pain
beyond belief.

They might wish they could see
you one more time
Come walking through the door
Have coffee on the table
Driving taxi and watching--
holding the remote control
Or whole day answering your
phone call.

Perhaps, you aren't ready yet to
have to say goodbye
Perhaps you've thought of things
you wish you said-- well, so have
we.
But our hearts know, you're in the
better place now
Please, asked the Lord to ease
the hurt and comfort us
somehow.

We can no longer see you with
our eyes
Touch you with our hands nor
hearing your voice.

Goodbyes hurt when the story of
ours is not yet done
But we have to closed the book
because now you're gone.
