Now I See Poem by Ray Hansell

Just to walk in the morning sun
To smell the claen fresh air
We take so much for granted
Living life without much care

Never taking the time
To truly appreciate
The beauty that surrounds us
Until life is getting late

That seems to be when we notice
All the beauty that we see
I was one of those people
Until life almost ended for me

But now that I've been given
A new lease on life
I enjoy the beauty around me
Without ever thinking twice
