November Rain Poem by Gopi Arivalagan

November Rain

With night coming early,
Frost by the gate,
The autumn leaves falling
Sweeping cross the road.

waiting for her reply
for my love. Going back to my
Nostalgic memories lane
Happy days with her.

Then a dropp fell right
On my cheeks
Thoughts drifted away like leaves on the water.
They rolled down the river and slip out of sight.

It just started raining.
With the tiny drops
Falling up on those leaves
Making them stay up for more.

The low wind wails-a voice of pain,
Fit to chime with the weeping rain.
It patters like a sad refrain,
As it blurred the glass with its tears.

She had not come.
A heart is torn open,
A love is broken,
A life is empty.

I wept-dripping...
Dripping and falling...
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.
