nothings ever as it seems
yes i, once too, had hopes and dreams
dreams to be with the one i love
it was him i was always thinking of

he held my hand
and through it all
he held me close
and never let me fall

now i'm left with broken dreams
because nothing ever as it seems
no longer will i see his face
why is my life such a disgrace

so once again i know i'll cry
for he never deserved to die
i miss you every single day
that is all i can really say
