Nothing To Date Poem by Dean Meredith

Nothing To Date

Nothing to date
Except maybe you
Nothing to date
Except a worn out picture of you

No I'm not lonely
I'm really nothing at all
I don't want you back
Write that on your wall

I don't want you back
I want nothing at all
There's a crack in my crack
We're too broken to fall

You shot me and I shot you
And no-one went down
Unless they really wanted
I was your clown and you were mine too

Nothing to date
Except maybe you
Nothing to date
Except a worn out picture of you
