A Stranger Comes Poem by Dean Meredith

A Stranger Comes

Rating: 4.8

Her good eye
Saw me coming
Her bad eye
Saw something else
Her stereo vision
Saw mirages
And miracles
She should have known better
But what's a girl to do?
With waring eyes
In a desert
With an oasis
And a love of scorpions
But a fear of fleas
The camel trader
Seemed nice
And trustworthy
She went with him
To follow her dreams

A desert with an oasis. The comfort that gives in the desert it is pretty imagined.
