Nothing Is Impossible Poem by R. L. Allen

Nothing Is Impossible

At night time, nothing is impossible.
I feel like I can do anything;
my determination fuels my passion and
strikes a match to the dry firewood
which lies piled up and waiting for
flames on the forest floor of my ideas.

At night time there are no barriers,
no limitations, nothing holding me back.
Even the darkness seems kinder when
the promise of light sits just beyond the horizon.

Here, in the hopeful glow of the lamp,
my doubts are as silent as the birds,
my fear spoken only through the
cautious call of an owl whose voice
echoes eerily outside my window.

At night time, nothing is impossible.
