Nothing In Life -By Okoemu Barnabas

She carries the sack
Guided it jealously
Walking the busy
All eyes on her,
Minds wondering
From a corner,
He sighted her
With his blood filled eyes
And hungry heart
As fast as an eye blink,
He goes near her,
Snatch from her,
The sack
And on his heels; he took
Men in black
Pulled out batons,
In chase of the running sack holder
Networking north bloc, east, south and west bloc,
Systems in place,
Resulting to siege
All for the running,
The authority involve.
Heating the air,
Declaring wanted, dead or alive
Something is missing,
That the lame, blind, deaf, normal and abnormal, rich and poor, old and young,
All in chase,
Tired of running, he stopped,
Upon him, all is gathered,
Opening the sack,
Was without,
Nothing but empty sack.
Our lives is like that,
Why all the problems?
