Goodluck Jonathan Poem by Okoemu Barnabas

Goodluck Jonathan

Goodluck Jonathan -by Okoemu

The man we trusted failed us,
He came like a humble fool,
Presented to us by our father-in-fool; Obasanjo.
He told us he was like us,
He told us, he is through us,
Like a monkey, he played the smart fool,
He never wore a shoe, growing up
He knows our needs, and will do better to improve us, but a viper, he becomes.
He promised us food,
And water, to drink
And clothes, to wear
And handiwork too,
That we won't be idle
And we cheered for him
And we accepted him
Not knowing behind his smile,
Lies the wickedest lies
He got our mandate
And welcome his mother on a new year with a slap,
On his father's birthday,
Jonathan presented massacre to the innocent man
He smiles at death and sufferings of his mother,
Goodluck Jonathan, encouragement of crime and corruption
Sponsorer of doom that loom
Betrayer of trust
Who smiles at people's empty stomach
Enemy of education and healthy body
Going abroad for treatment
At every slight ache,
But refuse growth of any sort in his mother's home!
Goodluck Jonathan,
The man we trusted, who failed us,
He build air port and rail way, they said;
But tell me, how many average Nigerians, can afford a jet fly?
The man who careless about my safety; let the enemy shoot or bomb, his condolence message is already on standby
Let him die of malaria, the hospitals shall remain in shackle
Let school fees be as high as mountain Kilimanjaro, he sure don't want education
Jonathan! The never satisfied friendly enemy.
How long shall you hunger to destroy your father's labour?
Your time is up, pack and go!
Mother hates you!

This perhaps, is the outlet for your dislike of Jonathan. Nice write sir, but you forgot to add some truths.
