Nothing Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Nothing

Rating: 5.0

There is nothing hollower than a nothing.
So deeper, bigger and darker,
Swallowing us gradually day by day
Squeezing everything that meant anything to us
By letting us turn into nothing.

And we sit still inspite of recognizing,
There is nothing more shameful
Than having everything and giving nothing.

And we sit still inspite of realizing,
There is nothing more painful
Than living for everything and dying for nothing.
