William Chaplar (August 18,1961 / Trenton, New Jersey)
Not The Man...
I hate to think what you've been told
since back when you were four years old.
But just in case you give a damn,
I'm not the man you think I am.
Because I've been misunderstood,
some may have told you I'm no good.
Though you may have heard I'm a sham,
I'm not the man you think I am.
Some people may have misled you.
And so you really have no clue
that what they told you was a scam.
I'm not the man you think I am.
There's no way I can make things right
until I make you see the light.
But when you do, you'll understand
I'm not the man you think I am.
