Not Heros Wear Capes

Uncape heroes walk among us,
Invisible to the naked eye,
Their strength and courage wondrous,
As they quietly pass by.

They don't wear capes or masks,
But their hearts are pure and true,
Fighting battles that seem like tasks,
To make our world anew.

The single mom who works two jobs,
To provide for her children's needs,
The neighbor who helps clear the cobwebs,
Of the elderly's forgotten deeds.

The volunteer who gives their time,
To help those who are in need,
The friend who listens and chimes,
In moments of despair and heed.

The unsung heroes of our world,
Who don't seek recognition or fame,
Their hearts and souls unfurled,
In acts of kindness, without shame.

So let us honor these uncape heroes,
For their selflessness and grace,
Their actions our hearts aglow,
In this world's challenging race.
