Not Far Away.. Poem by Dislocated Heart

I am left with nothing.
perhaps it's your turn.
I've done all that I can.
can love be returned?

This heart is yours,
To keep or be thrown.
Walk out of my life,
or remain with me..
in this unknown.

We beat each other.
with words and dismay.
We're not the monsters,
It's third wheel betray.

It's a crowd here now,
the tides are coming in.
resume your play,
pretend away.

Titanium walls,
with no gate to open.
Strangers now,
yet, words to be spoken.

wishing you well,
since I no longer ask of your day.
I hope you don't get carried away..
in words another might say.

one can deceive and lie,
and I rather you not be on that side.
for however long this last,
remember.. I love you..
I'm not that far away.
