Not Always Bright Poem by Ray Hansell

Some days it's cloudy and overcast
Some days the sun shines bright
But we must all always remember
That we can't always stand in the light

Everybody has their dark days
When everything goes wrong
That's when you really have to
Stand tall and be strong

Of course when things are going right
Your sailing right along
Then all of a sudden
You run into one of life's storms

It really could be anything
Something at work or home
But when it will happen
That is the unknown

So, we must always be prepared
For anything at all
We'll never know when we'll need to answer
A crisis in life when it calls

So, always enjoy the good times
When that sun is shining bright
Because it usually doesn't take too much
For something to make us lose the light
