Could a day
Like today
Have been better
In any way?

I don't think so
How about you
Not with the things
We got to do

It's so plain
For me to see
That you're the only
One for me

True love comes
To those who wait
But true love
Never arrives too late

So right now
I say to you
That someday soon
That's what we'll do

I'll spend my time
Giving you my love
The only woman
That I'll think of

When the time
For us arrives
I know that love
Will still be alive

Because I know
That we'll belong
Always together
With a love so strong
