There are things
That are not allowed
Just like you
Can see but can't have

It was like King David
Seeing Bathsheba in the bath
He was struck dumb
And lust for her hand

You were the apple
That was on the tree
Whilst I was Adam
Who listened to the snake

I was blinded by desire
And I let curiositydecide
Which was the moment that the fire
Destroyed everything I have

The pain of losing
The most beautiful of things
The decision of forgetting
What was once was your everything
