Nostalgia Poem by Mbusya Wa Mbusya

Nostalgia

Rating: 5.0

Do you remember rigs and rugs,
Of the twisted road and reeds,
Do you remember signs and sights,
Of the passing hills and soils,
Do you remember twists and turns,
Of those times and naught events,
... Remember the road that was rough,
... Remember the rains and the trough,
And all those farms of pink roses,
And the next field full of grasses, ,
... Remember my name was Stallion,
... The horse with gallop of union,
I remember... All of those times,
I remember... All of those moments,
When it was raining like tonight,
And the ambiance fought the sight,
I felt the smell of the yonder years,
Listening to Joe talk about freedoms,
Listening to sighs break into moans,
And priests from Calvary burning urns,
Guess... It depressed me,
Please...
... May be you tell me,
... May be you forgot me,
Just focus on the reeds
That grew amongst weeds.
I am one of them,
This is not a game.
