North Atlantic Poem by Fini Lokke

North Atlantic

Rating: 5.0

What I will not forget
is blows resounding on the bow
of the Atlantic liner 'Stockholm'
going westward to the open ocean
while the radio waves transmitted
Grand National Steeple Chase:
this was the world of true events
this was our real home
