Nonexistent Love Poem by Randy Whitehead

Nonexistent Love

Rating: 3.8

O, our love, so strong a bond, never gone
And all the binding chains were lifted,
Since the day I met you nothing's been wrong,
And all of the days since have been gifted.
You are the prettiest buds of summer,
Helping all my days of disappointment,
You are the best of all my past lovers,
And with you, all my hardships are worth it.
You are the coolest of all the breezes, Softening all the worst storms of my rage,
With your soft whisper all my world eases,
Better wisdom you have than every sage,
You help me when all my sense is twisted,
Love of mine, if only you existed.

Beautiful train of thought, well articulated, nicely encapsulated, and insightfully penned with good rhyme scheme. Love is a spiritual experience - a voyage of pure bliss, that affects one profoundly. Thanks for sharing Randy. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Yes, I believe that sometimes We may set the bar a little too high for ourselves. These expectation only exist in our minds. I like your ink.
