Nomadic Stars Poem by Sincair Farrell

Nomadic Stars

Drifting through space
an existence spawned by galaxies
far away
wandering through the vastness of our cosmos
in complete darkness
they rest by different planets
a map to an entire universe

Like birds without wings
homeless travelers they become
destined to be
sometimes alone at night
reflecting by the sea
with a wish to fly home
in their eyes

Light flickering from a far
wherever they are
eternal drifters
remember home is where they were they were birthed
in a distant past
they leave their footprints throughout the universe
they are nomadic stars.

Such starts occasionally interact with other celestial bodies and have major effects. Thanks for sharing, Sincair
