No Wish Dies In Vain Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

No Wish Dies In Vain

Rating: 5.0

I recall, it might now look feign
But we tried hard to meet,
And with some odd refrain
That appealed to me then a bit,
And perhaps to her, in vain
I tried not to fall in that pit,
Tried, my feelings to restrain,
Give nor take an inch— in some grit,
A battle she sure had lost it
But not war, and said with some wit,
So then, let's meet again.

How I'd learnt, no wish dies in vain,
What with her will, again to meet,
She'd when said with some charm that hit,
And made me feel wet without rain!
