No Voice Poem by Becka Mull

No Voice

Rating: 5.0

Just a friday night at the prom
Where everything turned out wrong
It all started at that hotel
The joining of the egg & sperm cell

The young couple didn't know what to do
But they couldn't start a life together
And push through
Because they were scared
And neither one cared
About the little one they had made
The one they betrayed
The one who had no choice
The one who had no voice

No one will every find
What could've been
Of the one we left behind

The one who should've stayed
The one we betrayed
The one who had no choice
The one who had NO VOICE
