No More Grime Poem by Joyce Hemsley

No More Grime

Respect your own locality
As if it were a new Rolls Royce.
Make the area sparkle
Free from Grime, a noble choice.

Keep the little Homestead tidy
Builder's model with grace and poise.
Clean the sidewalk and village byway
Now hearken to the thankful voice.

Modern solvent is the remedy
To clear graffiti from the walls,
And oh how proud you'll be thereafter
When 'Mr Clean-street' comes to call.
And skies of blue shine over all.

By Joyce Hemsley.
