No More Chances Poem by Brittany Messersmith

No More Chances

Rating: 5.0

My heart beats faster
Tears well
I grab for your hand
You pull me into you
I can't let you go
Your eyes upon my face
Your hand in mine
Your lips caress my skin
I can't take this anymore
'I'll never forget you'
Tears roll silently down my face
'Sorry, I love you'
These are the last words I hear you say
as you walk a way
My body crumbles to the floor and the tears pore like rain from the clouds
You come back pick me up and kiss me in the most passionate way only like you can.
The sparks fly
For that one moment everything was at peace.
I open my eyes
The razor slides
One more painful memory.

This is so sad...was it written out of experience?
