No Mistaken Identity Poem by Gary James Smith

No Mistaken Identity

No Mistaken Identity

No mistaken identity
Have the one's who know the Saviour
For the Lord knoweth them that are His
And they are found within His favor
For they have believed upon the Son
And that belief has set them free
The Word of the Lord brought conviction of sin
And revealed Christ's supremacy

Someone arising from the dead
Now that's a Resurrection
Our Lord did it in Mighty style
He did it to perfection
The scars He bore still leave an impression
And O what a glorious day
When we will appear before the Lord
And send our praises His way

Holy, holy, holy,
Shall never stop their refrain
For from the lips of each saved sinner
Pours out praises to His name
For Jesus Christ the Lamb of God
Has welcomed home His sheep
And standing there with open arms
Each believing one He'll greet

It will be good riddance to this old world
For there's a land that is fairer than day
That has been waiting for my arrival
When I leave this vessel of clay
And I'm already rejoicing
For I know I will meet the Son
Who took my place and saved me by grace
Hallelujah for the Crucified One!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
