No Love Lost For My Questioning Love Poem by Sfisesihle Nxumalo

No Love Lost For My Questioning Love

From one heartfelt dialogue I stole your heart cos from one look you stole my soul
How did I know then, that with you my heart wilt find rest, except by faith
How did you know at that time, that my love could never fail you except by trust
Tentatively my tongue sings you how beautiful you be
Yet intrinsically my eyes hold the aplomb purity of your divine; your soul
How do I tell you I love only you such it last
Zounds! Why won't you taste the furry I love you with in my kiss, alas!
From one importuned introduction I met a true definition of my existence
And from a stolen smile I shuttered all defiance of your become
Yet why won't I love you like I seek to do_your accustomed to ask
And why won't I let you love me by full might of your design, crass
Pray life will let us see, love, like water has no form but only fits all molds.
