No Love Here Poem by Sonyia JoArnold

No Love Here

I tried to kiss you this morning,
you pushed me away,
Just like you have nearly every day.
I reach for your hand you pull it back,
You roll your eyes and your shoulders slack.
You don't love me, you never did,
I am not her and I'm not your kid.
Ive stood by your side for many years,
And I have shed countless hours of tears.
I just wanted to make you aware,
In case you come home and I am not there.
