No Kid Hungry Poem by Tamia B.

No Kid Hungry

There's a girl named Ciara
She's from a country called Liberia
Her parents are weak
And can barely speak
So night and day she strays away
To survive another tiring day.
She settles on bushmeat
Because that's all she can afford to eat
But to no avail
Her attempts failed.
Now her parents are deceased
And she has nothing left to eat
She's suffering from a raging hunger
Living in a world full of plunder.
