No Honour Amongst Thieves Poem by Qiniso Mogale

No Honour Amongst Thieves

Rating: 5.0

They are elected and appointed to top political positions
They are elected to be presidents
They are elected to be members of Parliament
They are called honourable members
They are supposed to be honourable
Honour is not in their vocabulary
There is no honour amongst thieves.

They murder their way to the top
They bribe their way to the top
They are involved in shady deals
They commit heinous crimes
They loot state coffers
They are thieves
They are supposed to be honourable
But there is no honour amongst thieves
No, there is no honour amongst thieves.

If leaders do not work effectively after getting elected and appointed this provokes thought. An amazing poem is very brilliantly penned.10

You are 100% right my friend. Their main objective is how to grab power and money by any means. They kill, they loot, they rape and can do any kind of crime to fulfill their motives. Thanks for sharing such a nice poem.
