No Description Needed Poem by Stacy Brown

No Description Needed

I can describe the ocean as tear drops
falling from the moon on to a desert
that resembles the sky.
I have no problem illuminating clouds
flowing past the dreams of an elderly man
laying on his death bed.
There are multiple ways to express endless love
felt between star crossed neighbors
that found each other just a second too late
Life has far to many cliche moments and
I could copy everyone one of them
to express the meaning of infinity,
we are doomed to experience
in meaningless moments that tick by.
but I cannot describe this.
The words jumble in to phrases
that make no sense to the human ear
but can be felt by the mind.
They create a fantasy that eludes me,
and as I trip my way through commas
and skip over semi colons
I find there actually are no words,
for it begs not to be ruined
by being trapped in such mediocrity.
