Nimrod Poem by Guy Graybill

Nimrod

'And the hunter home from the hill.'
Tis' Stevenson's line, you'll recall;
But the pen has replaced the quill...
And the hunter's home from the mall.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written to make light of today's hunter who goes to the modern market for supplies to feed his family, rather than going for wild game as his ancestors did.
