'Nightmares' Poem by Nicole Hanes

Dreams are good
Nightmares are scary
many, many things
ones freightening dream
becomes reality

Toss, and turn
Turn, and toss
Moan and cry
cry and moan

Symptoms of life in my sleep
renews the boldness inside
fighting
and struggling to hold on
to the life it belongs to

could these have been flashbacks?
memories that have been
forgotten, lost, broken

is this?
could it be
a good thing
amelodious
struggle
could it be?

Nightmares cause fustration
I guess it is just
for the good of us all
