She was dragging her feet
such sn innocent child
no, it wasn't always like this
she had it all to give
then started to dabble
yeah, she wanted to live
at a party one night
she hit smack in the arm
her faith lost control
yes she wanted it all.

Her want grew to need
yeah, she also started to
chase that dragon
she just used him more
she'd do anything
in order to score
the ride became too fast
she had to get off
yeah, it might be her last
but that's what it cost

I looked in her eyes
such pain and relief
her spirit escaped
and blood spilled on my feet
it was a nightmare
her life gone down the drain
a nightmare; she got caught
in the rain
a true nightmare
addicted and going down hill
she only wanted to try
but try turned to death
a nightmare
yeah a real nightmare stare.......
