Night View Poem by William Kruse

Night View

The lights of my home town
fluctuate in blurry brilliance,
little rainbow bursts of neon
bobbing brightly in the night.
They speak of other places
where the night life is the high life,
but they settle on this city
like a shroud.

Lights do give character to a city true.
