Night Dip Poem by Ghost Legend

Night Dip

I dipped into the river
To see
How many shivers
Would free
Me
From all these
Meanderings,
From morbid
Reality.

She dipped into the river
At ease;
The Sun did not live up
To be
Warmth in
The breeze:
Just a source
Of gravity.

We dipped into the river
To flee
The cause of our break-up.
Inevitably,
We
Seem floundering
Into uncharted
Territory.
