When reflecting on the past year
We have regrets
But we also have what makes us get through it all
Friends take us through each day
Family joins us in celebrations
So as a year ends
A new one begins
Now we pounder what we would like to see happen
You make new years resolutions but never turns out
How about taking one day at a time
Do good for others and it will be returned ten fold
If things are not going as planned don't give up
Talk to someone who is close to you
They will guide you on the right path
Just remember you are in charge of this year and every year
And it is up to you how it goes
So remember to smile and laugh and pay it forward
