Never Stop The Search Poem by Lana May Hamlin

Never Stop The Search

Rating: 5.0

I close my eyes and fight back the tears
That well up in my eyes.
Everyday I face my fears
Because I don’t have you by my side.
I miss the simple things we used to do
Like cuddling under the stars.
I want to hear the words that are true
Before they turn to lies.
Maybe I just feel this way
Because my heart is lonely.
I just want to hear you say
You’ll never leave me.
It’s not so much that I miss you
I just miss the concept.
Honestly I want someone new
You’re the one that left me.
I want someone like you only better
Someone who won’t repeatedly break my heart.
And will show his passion in every love letter.
Maybe someday I’ll find my Mr. Right
I’m not going to stop searching.
But in this moment I hope will all my mite
That I’ll learn to be happy.
