Never Ending Contradictions Poem by Nerissa Morton

Never Ending Contradictions

I have a soul
Yet I am soul-less
I have a heart
Yet I am heartless
I am big
But I am not brave
I stick up for what's right
But always do wrong
I want to achieve
Yet always fail
I care too much
Yet never enough

Everything in my life is but a contradiction
What if I were to end it?
Would it continue on?
For this would explain why my life;
Everything in it,
Is ultimately nothing;
Nothing but never ending contradictions
