Never Again Poem by Jo Lee

Never Again

You push me out the door
I'm realizing there's no us any more.

I never gave you the right to break my heart
I should have known this from the start.

But even if the rain falls down,
I'll be strong and wear my crown.

You can take my love and toss away all I gave
just do it quick, don't make me your slave.

You kept playing me for so long
and in times like this, it's hard to be strong.

But I will carry through good times and bad
you'll only be a regret,
you'll never again make me sad..
