Nene Poem by Terry terrific Egharevba

Nene

All attempts to describe you implode before they begin,
Analytically, intractable impenetrable by thought,
For all the beautiful things, my eyes have seen,
Nene, you are most beautiful amidst the lot.

Oh! Nene, the hibiscus on a sunny day
you are more beautiful than roses in a vase
god may have created you on the last day,
that men should marvel at your style and grace

Nene, I see the twinkle of hope in your eyes,
you are the point where the sun and moon meet,
if beauty was inches, Nene! you would go on for miles,
if for nothing but for the gap between your teeth,

nene! Your eyes a melange of sky and sea,
Your face holds a life time joy,
nene, you are everything beauty could be,
your wisdom would make a man out of a boy,

nene! around your strides the moon revolves,
from your eyes stars evolves,
nene your nose points perfection,
the sun and you share the same complexion

nene I run out of words to describe you,
these words are not enough,
you are the first amongst equals
nene only your smile sets you above

your skin a glow to this globe of life
you add the word beauty to life
omalicha you give the word beauty radiance
a man HAS EVERYTHING IF HE HAS YOU AS A WIFE

nene! I envy the man by your side,
The one whose very image clouds your mind,
A man who wakes up to see an angel by his side
Even in darkness that man can never be blind.
